The CSC Scholarship 2025 is a fully-funded scholarship program offered to Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. students. The scholarship offers up to CNY 3,500 per month. The Application processes will end in April 2025.

The CSC Scholarship 2025 is available for the following degree levels:

Scholarship Duration
The duration of study varies depending on the degree level:
- Bachelor’s Programs: 4-5 years (including 1 year of Chinese language course if required).
- Master’s Programs: 2-3 years.
- PhD Programs: 3-4 years.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must not be a Chinese citizen.
- Undergraduate Applicant: Must be under 25 years old & have a high school diploma.
- Master’s Applicant: Must be under 35 years old & have a bachelor’s degree.
- PhD Applicant: Must be under 40 years old & have a master’s degree.
- Must have good academic records.
- For English-Taught Programs: IELTS (minimum 6.0) or TOEFL (80+) or an English proficiency certificate.
- For Chinese-Taught Programs: HSK Level 4 or 5 (for some programs).
- Must pass a medical fitness test.
- Candidates should not be receiving any other Chinese government-funded scholarship.
Application Process
- Check the list of CSC-designated universities in China.
- Select a university & program that offers CSC scholarships.
- Visit the CSC Scholarship Official Website (https://www.campuschina.org/).
- Create an account & fill out the CSC Scholarship Application Form.
- Select the Scholarship Type (A, B, or C depending on the program).
- Enter the University Code (available on the university’s website).
- Submit a separate online application to the university via its admission portal.
- Some universities do not require an application fee, but a few may charge a small amount.
- Upload all necessary documents on both CSC and university portals.
- If selected, you will receive a CSC Scholarship Admission Letter.
- Apply for a Chinese Study Visa (X1/X2) at the Chinese Embassy.
- Fly to China before the start of the semester.

- Copy of Valid Passport (must be valid for at least 6 months).
- Academic Transcripts & Degrees (certified copies).
- Study Plan / Research Proposal:
- Recommendation Letters (2x) from professors or academic supervisors.
- Medical Examination Form (Foreigner Physical Examination Form).
- Language Proficiency Certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, HSK, or English Proficiency Letter).
- CV / Resume (including educational & research background).
- No Criminal Record Certificate.
- Acceptance Letter (Optional but Recommended)
