Eligible Countries

International applicants without Korean nationality are welcome. Both parents must be non-Korean citizens. Dual citizens of Korea are not eligible for these scholarships.

Who Qualifies

Undergraduate: Completed high school or equivalent.
Graduate: Relevant bachelor’s/master’s degree.
Strong academic record (around 3.7/4.0 for top graduate awards).

Requirements

Full-Time Enrollment: Must meet credit requirements (at least 12 credits undergrad/6 credits grad, no failing grades).
Language Proficiency:
Undergrad: Minimum TOPIK 4 (or TOEFL iBT 80/IELTS 6.0) to qualify for scholarships.
Graduate: No strict test score, but higher language ability boosts chances.
Academic Performance: Maintain GPA ≥3.0 (undergrad) or GPA ≥3.5 (grad) for renewal.

Scholarship Renewal

Undergraduate:
- GPA 3.0 → 50% tuition;
- GPA 3.5 → 100% tuition;
- GPA 3.8 → 100% tuition + dorm fees.
Graduate:
- Maintain GPA 3.5 for 50–100% tuition waiver.
- Extensions: +1 semester (MS), +2 semesters (PhD) if needed.

Success Rate

Around two-thirds (67%) of international students secure some form of Seoul Tech scholarship.

Online Application: Fill out SeoulTech’s international admissions form.
Submit Documents: Provide transcripts, language test results, proof of finances, etc.
Screening & Interview: You have to attend the interview.
Admission & Scholarship: Offers specify any tuition waiver/stipend.
