Types of IsDB Scholarships
- IsDB Merit Scholarship Program (MSP)
- For PhD and post-doctoral research candidates from IsDB member countries.
- Placement at top global universities.
- IsDB Master of Science Scholarship Program (M.Sc.)
- For Master’s candidates at universities in an IsDB member country (ranked in the top 1000), with emphasis on 20 Least Developed Member Countries.
- Scholarship Program for Muslim Communities in Non-Member Countries (SPMC)
- Supports undergraduates from Muslim communities in non-member countries to pursue degrees (e.g., medicine, engineering).
- IsDB–ISFD Scholarship Program for IsDB Least Developed Member Countries (LDMCs)
- For students from 21 LDMCs pursuing Bachelor’s degrees or technical diplomas in fields like medicine or engineering.
Eligible Countries
- IsDB Member Countries: Includes nations from Africa, Asia, the Middle East, etc. (e.g., Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, etc.).
- Muslim Communities in Non-Member Countries: Applicants from non-member nations who belong to Muslim communities are also eligible.
Who Can Apply
- Must be a citizen of an IsDB member country or a member of a Muslim community in a non-member country.
- Must meet the academic entry requirements for the intended degree (Bachelor, Master, PhD, or Post Doc).
- For advanced degrees (Master’s/PhD/Post Doc): A strong academic record and, if applicable, research experience are required.
- For undergraduates: Must be admitted or enrolling in an accredited institution in the applicant’s own country.
- There’s no application fee at any point in the process.
