MEXT Scholarship 2025-26 (Fully Funded) Study in Japan

The Japanese government provides fully funded scholarships for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students from worldwide. This scholarship covers all living expenses & provides up to 117,000-145,000 JPY/month. The last application date is in Oct 2025 (Exact dates may vary by country).

Eligibility Requirements

1. Nationality:
   • Open to non-Japanese citizens.
2. Education Level:
   • Bachelor’s: Must have completed high school.
   • Master’s: Must have a Bachelor’s degree.
   • PhD: Must have a Master’s degree.
3. Age Limit
   • Applicants must be under 35 years old.
4. Language Requirements
   • Japanese or English proficiency is required (IELTS/TOEFL or JLPT preferred).
5. Health Status
   • Must be physically and mentally fit.
