Requirements

  • Proof of Residency/Citizenship: Valid ID showing U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
  • Transcripts: Unofficial or official showing current GPA ≥2.5.
  • Community & Leadership: Display volunteer work, leadership roles, extracurricular activities.
  • Documents: Two recommendation letters, a professional headshot, a short video essay (replaces written essay).

Success Rate (~5–10%)

Competition is fierce; out of hundreds or thousands of applications, only a small percentage receive the scholarship. Strong academic records and complete materials boost your odds.

How to Apply (Full Process)

  1. Online Form: Create an account on the CBCF scholarship portal and select the CBC Spouses Education Scholarship.
  2. Fill All Sections: Input personal, academic, and demographic info accurately.
  3. Upload Documents: Include transcripts, letters, video essay, and resume.
  4. Submit Early: Deadlines close on March 29, 2025—late or incomplete apps aren’t accepted.
  5. Await Results: Winners announced ~June; funds disbursed to your college for the coming academic year.
