KNB Indonesian Government Scholarship 2025-26

The KNB Indonesian Government Scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship program offered for Master’s, or Ph.D. studies. The scholarship offers up to IDR 2,550,000 per month. The Application process will end on 7 March 2025.

Benefits

KNB Scholarship awardees receive extensive support, which includes:

• Indonesian government provides settlement allowance of IDR 1,500,000 upon arrival in Indonesia.
• Monthly stipends are provided up to IDR 2,550,000.
• Full tuition fee coverage for the whole duration of the academic program.
• Insurance of IDR 200,000 is also granted.
• Economy class tickets from the student’s home country to Indonesia is provided.

Available Programs

The KNB Scholarship encompasses a wide array of disciplines across 34 participating Indonesian universities, offering over 1,000 study programs.

Scholarship Duration

KNB scholarship is offered for approximately 12 to 36 months depending on the level of study and type of the course.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be maximum of 35 years old.
• Required Bachelor’s OR Master’s degree.
• Minimum TOEFL iBT score of 80, IELTS score of 6.0, or TOEIC score of 700, obtained within the last two years.
• Physically and mentally fit and certified by a qualified doctor.

Application Process

• Get a recommendation from the Indonesian Embassy or Consulate in your home country.
• Gather all required documents as listed below.
• Complete the application form and upload the required documents through the official KNB Scholarship website.
• Applications will be reviewed, and shortlisted candidates will be notified for further assessment.
• Selected applicants will receive an acceptance letter.

• Recommendation letter from the Indonesian Embassy.
• Academic transcripts and certificates.
• Language proficiency test results.
• Curriculum Vitae (CV) or resume.
• Passport copy.
• Medical certificate.
• Motivation letter or study plan.
• Two recommendation letters from previous academic institutions or employers.
• Parents’ affidavit permitting the applicant to join the KNB Scholarship in Indonesia.
