Simplified Employer Accreditation Process
The obligation for employers to complete Employment New Zealand’s online modules has been eliminated. This change decreases managerial burdens, making the accreditation process more straightforward and efficient.
New Seasonal Visa Categories by November 2025
By November 2025, two new seasonal visa types will be introduced to support industries with seasonal labor demands. Until then, the current Specific Purpose Work Visa – Seasonal Worker category will remain in effect. These informs aim to address labor shortages and modernize visa processes.
